The JITMM 2022 Organizing Committee will provide Travel Awards to deserving applicants who wish to attend and present at the conference.

You are eligible to apply for the Travel Awards if you are any of the following:

You are eligible to apply for the Travel Awards if you are any of the following:
- Early-career researchers (graduate and post-graduate level up to 8 years post-PhD)
- Researchers from low and middle-income countries (LMICs), as defined by the World Bank
- Students (currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program)
- Invited speakers and previous Travel Awardees are not eligible for the Award
- For early-career researchers- a copy of graduation certificate or a proof that you graduated with a M.Sc., Ph.D. or MD. within the last 8 years
- For researchers from LMICs- a letter of support from your organization or institution (signed and on organizational letterhead)
- For students- a letter from your institute to prove your student status
- Fully waived registration
- Application Deadline – 15 September 2022
- Notice of Award – Late October or mid-November 2022
- Delivery of an oral or poster presentation based on the submitted abstract
- Attendance of the full 3 days of JITMM 2022
- Submission of a brief (1 page) conference-report highlighting your experience attending or presenting at JITMM 2022. Submission deadline is 10 January 2023.
