Dear JITMM 2009 & FBPZ6 Participants,

The Organizing Committee of the Joint International Tropical Medicine Meeting 2009 (JITMM 2009) and the 6^th Seminar on Food- and Water-Borne Parasitic Zoonoses (FBPZ6) , held 2-4 December 2009 at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld , Bangkok, Thailand , would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your valuable contributions to the success of these Meetings. It was a great honor for us to host such a prestigious event, and to welcome so many of you to Thailand .

I am delighted to report that 829 delegates from 24 countries participated in JITMM 2009 & FBPZ6, combined. Overall, there were 313 presentations, composed of the 4 Keynote Lectures and 175 oral presentations addresses by 124 speakers in 28 Symposium sessions, 9 free-paper sessions, 1 student presentation award session, and the Prof. Sornchai Award session. One hundred and thirty-four (134) papers were presented as poster presentations during the 3-day event.
